Born on March 5, 1958, in Cameron, Missouri, Toby was the cherished son of Earl and Patricia (Morgan) Miller. He spent his formative years in Hamilton, Missouri, where he cultivated a strong sense of community and began his lifelong pursuit of knowledge. His roots in Hamilton remained a significant part of his identity throughout his journey.
Following his graduation from Penney High School, Toby embarked on an extraordinary academic path, demonstrating an unparalleled commitment to learning. His thirst for education led him to multiple institutions, where he garnered an impressive array of degrees, reflecting his diverse interests and capabilities. His academic achievements spanned various disciplines.
Miller proudly held Bachelor of Science degrees from Northwest Missouri State University, Missouri Western State University, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City. These encompassed Broadcasting Communications, Business Computer Science, and Accounting, showcasing his multifaceted talents. Further demonstrating his dedication, he also earned a Master of Science in Nursing, a testament to his desire to serve and understand the complexities of health.

He is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Christie (Scott) Holferty of Parkville, Missouri, Tricia (Mike) Trussell of Cameron, and Donna Byard of Alvaton, Kentucky. His family legacy extends to his niece Paige (Kyle) DeLong, nephews Christian Holferty and Miles Trussell, and great-nephews Daniel and Andrew DeLong, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.

A formal visitation will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m., offering an opportunity for friends and loved ones to pay their respects and share memories of Toby Miller and his extraordinary journey, culminating in community remembrance.
