These critical “do not eat” warnings cover a diverse range of items, from bottled vegetables potentially harbouring life-threatening bacteria to everyday staples containing undeclared allergens and even physical contaminants like plastic fragments, highlighting the ongoing vigilance required in food safety.
Among the most severe warnings is the recall of Vittoria Friarielli alla Napoletana, a bottled broccoli in oil product, which the FSA identified as potentially containing botulinum toxin.
