The announcement of the closure, shared on Instagram on August 29, also conveyed the bittersweet news of a cherished staff member, Misi, embarking on their last weekend with the team, adding a poignant note to the temporary farewell.
The official message from the cafeteria stated, “It’s Misi’s last weekend in Castros. And it’s also our last weekend of Summer before we close for a few weeks for holidays & a refurb. We are CLOSED from the 1st – 21st of September. Come get your Castros fix, have a bevvy with us & say Adios to Misi.”
Owner Borja further elaborated on the continuous growth and learning experience involved in running the establishment, hinting at the dedicated effort behind the scenes to enhance the venue, stating, “We are getting better every week and I learn as I go.”
