The relocation comes as the festival’s usual home, the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, undergoes significant renovations. While the transition presented a monumental logistical challenge, TBAAL Founder and President Curtis King expressed unwavering determination, noting, “Packing up, moving, renovations, it’s just a lot, but the spirit said, ‘No, you have to do this and you’ll be fine!'” This temporary shift underscores TBAAL’s commitment to continuity and delivering its cherished annual event.
