The vibrant city of Glasgow is set to welcome an innovative new destination this September with the highly anticipated opening of Clydeside Containers. This exciting venue, strategically located on the iconic Broomielaw, promises to redefine urban entertainment and dining by transforming upcycled shipping containers into a dynamic social hub.

Poised to become a cornerstone of Glasgow’s bustling social scene, Clydeside Containers will host an eclectic mix of offerings. Organisers have been delighted by the swift progress of construction, signalling the imminent launch of this ambitious project. With banners recently unveiled announcing its grand opening, the build is rapidly advancing, setting the stage for a grand debut in the early autumn.

Adding a distinctive artistic flair to the development, acclaimed Glaswegian street artist Rogue One, also known as Bobby McNamara, recently contributed a captivating mural. This special artwork serves as a vibrant celebration of the venue’s impending arrival and its future as a cultural landmark.

The striking mural features a hyper-realistic depiction of actor Brad Pitt in his memorable role as Tyler Durden from the film Fight Club. This iconic character is shown holding a bar of soap, cleverly integrated with the Clydeside Containers logo, creating a visually compelling and conversation-starting piece of public art for Glasgow.

Constructed entirely from ingeniously modified shipping containers, it will boast an open-plan bar, six dedicated independent food vendor spaces, a dedicated breakfast kitchen, and highly flexible areas suitable for various public events and performances.
